When it comes to creating red-carpet ready looks, celebrity stylist Sarah Potempa, creator of the The Beachwaver, leads the way.

Here, Sarah shares with us one of our favorite looks, a glamorous, head-turning style that is sleek in the front with lush cascading waves in the back.

 Step 1: Start by creating a clean center part and apply Phomollient™ Styling Foam to the roots and Damage Remedy™ Daily Hair Repair to the ends. Loosely blow dry until the hair is 80% dry and then polish the ends with a brush.

Step 2: Section the hair with the Darby Clip, starting at the bottom working your way up. Curl 2" sections of your hair with The Beachwaver Pro 1.25”.

Step 3: Polish the front sections with the Coast Pro styling iron and smooth with Brilliant™ Anti-Humectant Pomade. Then take the front from the left and the right and pull it into a hidden ponytail to secure the front down.

Step 4: To create gorgeous, polished waves, spray Aveda's Air Control™ Light Hold Hair Spray directly onto your brush and brush all of the waves together.
