Rituals AVEDA Salon has set a fundraising goal of $500 and will stock the 2013 AVEDA Earth Month Candle throughout April. 100% of the Earth month candle proceeds go to clean water efforts. One purchase could supply a year worth of drinking water for one person in Madagascar. 100% organic, made from 100% reclaimed beverage bottles, packaged from 70-90% post consumer recycled paper. Most notably, Rituals AVEDA Salon will participate in a local 24-hour cut-a-thon on Earth Day, April 22. Aveda stylists in salons worldwide from Tokyo, to Sydney, Moscow, London, New York and Minneapolis “ will volunteer their time to offer haircuts in return for a donation to Earth Month, a simple and beautiful way for their guests to actively care for the environment.
