Description of Duties:
Aveda retail professionals are passionate about hair and the Aveda mission and translate this passion to our guests. We work as members of an Experience Center team to share beauty, wellness and fashion - all through the power of touch. As an Assistant Team Leader, you will work closely with the Store Team Leader to inspire, motivate, and lead a team of highly talented service providers to achieve sales goals. You will plan and initiate monthly business events to draw in new and existing guests. You will also be responsible for the store operations to include inventory and quarterly cycle counts for the store, weekly ordering, backroom organization and the maintenance and cleanliness of the Experience Center.
Education and Experience:
Qualified applicants will possess 3 years customer service experience in a service industry including 1-2 years previous management experience. Beauty industry experience preferred. Candidates must have the ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events within a fast paced work environment (travel outside of the district may be required). Experience working with retail POS technology and computer proficiency required.
